Chinese Subway Attack?

This video appears to show a man in a Terracotta Warrior outfit hitting another man with a real hammer but if you slow it down you can clearly see the hammer bending. That does not necessarily mean that a prop hammer couldn’t inflict harm but it were a real hammer the victim may have ended up in critical condition given the force of the hammer blows.

As it turns out the whole incident was a publicity stunt reportedly performed by a Xi’an film company advocating more civil behavior on the metro. If you need more convincing, have a look a the rehearsal photo below along with the “attacker” and “victim” posing for the camera.
